This Article will show you the parameters and columns featured on the new Income Analysis Report:

Summary:

All payments created within your date range

Parameters

Location Status:

As default it will only display data for Active & View Only locations. To see 'All' this will need to be selected

Location:

Leave blank to show data for all locations from the setting above. For example, if no locations are selected it will look for all 'Active & View Only’ locations as shown above.

Income Date:

Will show all payments created within your date

Account type:

Defaults to ‘All’. Can narrow down the results to display only business or self funding payments.

Payment Method:

Left blank will display all as default. This list is populated in ‘settings > custom lists > Payment Types’.

Payment Status:

Will display all when left blank. Can narrow the results further by ‘Fully Paid’, ‘Part Paid’ and ‘Unreconciled’

Group By Location?

Separates the data into location groupings, with totals per location at the bottom of each group

Group By Practitioner?

Separates the data by practitioner, with totals per practitioner at the bottom of each group.

Group By Date?

Separates the data by date, with totals per day at the bottom of each group.

Note: If more than one grouping is selected they will stack one under another in the order they appear in the parameter section.

Once you submit your parameters you can save this as a preset by pressing save at the top right-hand side of the report.

Columns

Location Name:

The location linked to the payment

Income Reference:

The income reference. This will be hyperlinked, which when clicked will open the payment on a new tab.

Account Name:

The name of the account that the payment is linked to.

Account Type:

Either ‘Self Funding’ or ‘Business’

Client Name:

The full name of the client. This will be hyperlinked, which when clicked will open the client record in a new tab.

Income Date:

The date of the payment

Amount:

The total amount of the payment

Used:

The amount currently reconciled

Remaining:

Amount – Used

Payment Method:

The payment method linked to the payment

Income Status:

Either ‘Reconciled’, ‘Part Reconciled’ or ‘Un Reconciled’

Practitioners Linked:

If there is one practitioner linked to the payment, then it will display their name. If there are multiple, then it will display ‘Multiple Practitioners’. If there are none then it will remain blank. This will be the case in all unreconciled payments.

If exporting the data into a CSV or Excel file, the grouping parameters should be ignored.
