This Article will breakdown the Charge Analysis Report

This Article will show you the parameters and columns featured on the new Charge Analysis Report:

Summary:

All charges raised within your date range

Parameters

Display:

Defaults to ‘All’. This will show all appointments regardless of what business they may be linked to.
‘Business Clients’ Will only show appointments for appointments that are linked to a business.
‘Self Funding’ Will only show appointments for appointments that are not linked to a business.

Business:

Leaving this blank will pull through all businesses and self funders depending on what the parameter above is linked to. Otherwise, you can select one or businesses from the list.

Client Name:

Left blank as default, should you want to only show data for certain clients you can type their name in here.
Press the + button enter their name and then submit.

Location Status:

As default it will only display data for Active & View Only locations. To see 'All' this will need to be selected

Location:

Leave blank to show data for all locations from the setting above. For example, if no locations are selected it will look for all 'Active & View Only’ locations as shown above.

Use Account Date:

Defaults to ‘No’.
No = will search by the charge date. This is usually the appointment date or date the charge was created.

Yes = The invoice date of the charge.

From:

Will show all charges created or invoiced within your date, depending on the selection above.

Practitioner Status:

Defaults to ‘Full Time & Pay G’ practitioners. If you need to see disabled practitioners ‘All’ should be selected

Practitioner:

Leave blank to pull through all the practitioners from the setting above. Otherwise select as many practitioners on the drop list as needed.

Account Type:

Leave blank for all. Also an option for self funding or business.

Charge Description:

Left blank as default, should you want to only show data for certain stock items you can type the name in here.
Press the + button enter their name and then submit.

Charge Category:

Leave blank for all. This will list all the different charge categories. Select as many from the list as you need,

Show:

Defaults to ‘All’. This will ignore this parameter.

To only show invoiced items select ‘invoiced’. To only show uninvoiced items select ‘uninvoiced’.

Group By Location?

Separates the data into location groupings, with totals per location at the bottom of each group

Group By Practitioner?

Separates the data by practitioner, with totals per practitioner at the bottom of each group.

Group By Account Type?

Separates the data by account type, with totals per account type at the bottom of each group.

Note: If more than one grouping is selected they will stack one under another in the order they appear in the parameter section.

Once you submit your parameters you can save this as a preset by pressing save at the top right-hand side of the report.

Columns

Patient Name:

The full name of the client. This will be hyperlinked, which when clicked will open the client record in a new tab.

Location:

The location linked to the invoice

Charge Date:

The date of the charge. This will be hyperlinked, which when clicked on will open the charge in a new tab.

Billed To:

This will be the first line of the invoice. The name of the account holder at the time of the invoice creation.

Account Type:

Either self funding or business.

Stock Reference:

The reference of the stock item linked to the charge

Stock Description:

The full name of the stock item linked to the charge

Charge Category:

The type of item. E.g consultancy, stock item, package etc.

Qty:

Quantity

Total EXVAT:

Net Amount.

Total VAT:

Total value of VAT for this item.

Charge Total:

Gross Amount.

Practitioner:

The practitioner linked to the charge item.

Commission Value:

Updated charge total taking the practitioners commission amount into consideration.

Ledger Code:

The ledger code linked to the stock item

Invoice Ref:

Shows the invoice reference number. This is hyperlinked allowing the user to click on the invoice reference, to open the invoice on a new tab.

Auth Code:

If the charge is linked to an appointment with an authorisation code attached, the authorisation code will appear here.

Appt Length:

If the charge is linked to a 1:1 appointment, then it will show the appointment length.

If exporting the data into a CSV or Excel file, the grouping parameters should be ignored.
