To access the 'Clinical Dashboard' click the 'Clinical' icon on the menu bar on the left hand side of the screen.

A section with all your clinical cases will then appear, these will include cases with different status'. To search for a particular person you can simply type their name in the search function and then press 'Enter'.

When you click the 'More Filters' option a menu will appear where you can specify your search terms. You can search by body site, status and different date ranges.

Clicking on the column headers will allow you to sort by the column titles. The search on patients will be alphabetical order of the surname. It will search in ascending order (A-Z) as standard but if you search again it will go by descending order (Z-A). All searches work the same way apart from the date which will go from most recent to the latest date.

You can access cases from this area. This can be done by either double clicking on the case or clicking the view option on the right hand side.

There are different status' a case can take. These are 'Awaiting First Appointment', 'In Treatment ,'On Hold', 'Discharged' and 'Incomplete'. Cases can also be in a 'Locked/Unlocked' state.

Awaiting First Appointment: A case will be in this state if it is not linked to an appointment within TM3.

In Treatment: A case will be in this state when a patient is currently receiving treatment within your clinic.

On Hold: A case will be in this state if the patient is currently out of treatment in your clinic but will be returning. A situation where someone is on hold could be they are going back to their insurance company to get more treatment authorisations.

Discharged: A case will be in this state when it has been discharged. This will also show what date it was discharged on. Once a case has been discharged the status cannot change.

Incomplete: A case can be incomplete for 3 reasons:

  • When a consultation within the case is not linked to an appointment

  • A consultation is complete but has not been locked

  • A case has been discharged but it has not been locked

How to search for cases including advanced search, sorting by titles, view case from this screen, what the status' mean

Discharged Locked Case: When a case has been locked there will be a padlock beside the status. This means you can view the case but no further changes can be made.
