Discover how to search the system's Audit for specific information.

The Audit tool is a feature within your system which allows you to check an extensive number of actions that have been performed within the system as well as showing you the username associated with the action.

This allows you to check; for example, who deleted an appointment or closed off an invoice.

In order to access the Audit tool go to Settings > Audit.

You can search by typing in the 'Search Audit' box at the top of the screen. For example you can type in a patient's name and it will return all actions associated with that patient.

If you click on 'More Filters', you are able to search by different parameters.

Within each parameter you select you can also change how you search in relation to it - when you select the parameter that has appeared in the search bar you will see you have a n area called comparison that allows you to action searches based on different criteria. This further level of filtering can be seen below:

In the image below it shows when object type is selected, you can see the list oof object types on the system to search for. Note: There are more types than you can see in the image, simply use the scroll bar to show more.

In the image below the details have been filled out to search for any updates to appointments, that have been actioned by the user Bluezinc:

When you click 'Search' it brings up the details in the example below. Looking at this information we can see that user Bluezinc has updated appointments for client Callum test

If we want to see the audit entry in more detail, you just need to select the view changes option on the record and it presents like so - giving a detailed break down of what was in there originally in red and then what it has been updated or changed to in green:
