This article will show you the parameters and columns featured on the new Discharge Analysis Report:
Summary: | Cases Discharged within your date range. A discharge date needs to be added to the discharge form for this report to see the case. The report will not show cases that have been discharged but have no discharge date entered.

Location Status: | As default it will only display data for Active & View Only locations. To see 'All' this will need to be selected |
Location: | Leave blank to show data for all locations from the setting above. For example, if no locations are selected it will look for all 'Active & View Only’ locations as shown above. |
Practitioner Status: | Defaults to ‘Full Time & Pay G’ practitioners. If you need to see disabled practitioners ‘All’ should be selected |
Practitioner: | Leave blank to pull through all the practitioners from the setting above. Otherwise select as many practitioners on the drop list as needed. |
Medical Contact: | If left blank this selection will be ignored. You can narrow down your search by selecting one or multiple medical contacts from the drop-down list. This list populates from the Contacts tab found under (Contact>Contacts) |
Discharged Between: | Date selection is mandatory. The report will pull through all cases that have a discharge date between your date range. |
Body Site: | If left blank this selection will be ignored. You can narrow down your search by selecting one or multiple body sites from the drop-down list. This list is the same list that appears on the case. It can be edited from Settings > Configuration > Custom Lists > Body Sites |
Business: | Leave blank to include all businesses and self funders |
Patient Categories: | If left blank this selection will be ignored. You can narrow down your search by selecting one or multiple categories from the drop-down list. This list is the same list that appears on the patient record under ‘Occupation’. It can be edited from Settings > Configuration > Custom Lists > Patient Categories |
Medical Contact: | If left blank this selection will be ignored. You can narrow down your search by selecting one or multiple medical contacts from the drop-down list. This list populates from the Contacts tab found under (Contact>Contacts) |
Group By Location? | Separates the data into location groupings, with totals per location at the bottom of each group |
Group By Practitioner? | Separates the data by practitioner, with totals per practitioner at the bottom of each group. |
Group By Business? | Separates the data into business groupings, with totals per business at the bottom of each group |
Note: If more than one grouping is selected they will stack one under another in the order they appear in the parameter section. Once you submit your parameters you can save this as a preset by pressing save at the top right-hand side of the report. |

Columns |

Case Ref: | The unique case reference number. This is hyperlinked, which when clicked will open the case in a new tab. |
Client Name: | The full name of the client. This will be hyperlinked, which when clicked will open the client record in a new tab. |
Medical Contact: | The medical contact linked to the case (not the client record) |
Email: | Client’s email address |
Date Of Birth: | Client’s date of birth |
Practitioner: | The practitioner assigned to the case. This will default to the practitioner linked to the first appointment of the case. |
Auth Codes Remaining? | When the client has 1 or more authorisation codes remaining this will say ‘Yes’ otherwise it will say ‘No’. |
Date Of Admission: | The admission date of the case (Usually the first appointment date) |
Date Of Discharge: | The discharge date of the case. This would be completed on the discharge template. |
Date Of Referral: | The date of referral of the case. This would usually be completed on the admission template. |
Total Appts: | Number of appointments linked to the case. |
Body Site: | The body site linked to the case |
Admission Code: | The admission code linked to the case. This would usually be completed on the admission template. |
Diagnosis Code: | The diagnosis code linked to the case |
If exporting the data into a CSV or Excel file, the grouping parameters should be ignored. |
