E-Clinic is now integrated with Heidi AI! Below is a guide for Heidi AI and how to use it.
Enabling Heidi AI
To enable Heidi on your E-Clinic system, go to Settings > Clinical > Third Party Integrations > AI Scribes > Enable Heidi Integration.
Note: If you're on the FREE or PRO Heidi plan, you will need to copy and paste the notes generated from the Heidi popup on the Clinical Case. If you have the Practice plan you will be able to automatically have the fields be filled out.
Accessing Heidi from the Clinical Case
Navigate to the patient record that you wish to use Heidi on. Once on the Case, open any consultation that you would like Heidi to scribe the notes for. You will see the Heidi Icon appear beside the Assessments/Modalities.
Once clicked on, the Heidi widget will appear. This will prompt you to log in to your Heidi account. Note that you will only need to do this once, and will not be required in subsequent uses of the integration.
If you're new to Heidi, you will need to click on Signup for Heidi to create a Heidi Health Together Plan account. If you already have an account you can put in your Email and Password to log in. Once logged in, you will need to click on Use Heidi on your integration.
Once done, this will bring you back to the Clinical Case, where you will now see the full Heidi widget.
Note: When prompted, allow E-Clinic access to use your Microphone, otherwise, the Integration will not work.
Transcribing Clinical Notes with Heidi
Navigate to the Consultation you wish to transcribe and click on the Heidi Icon. This will bring up the Heidi Widget. Heidi will use the structure of the clinical template to fill out information.
Optionally, you can also add context to Heidi for any further information about the patient such as age, health, medication history etc by clicking on Context. Once ready, click on Start Visit to begin transcribing.
To Stop or Pause the session, hover over the timestamp in the top right of the widget and click. To resume the session, click on resume.
To view the generated notes, click on Note, which will display what has been generated. To change the format of the generated notes, click on the magic wand icon and select a different template from the list. You can change this format as many times as you need.
Once you are happy with the transcription of the session, click on Push Data. This will enter the data that Heidi has generated into the relevant fields within the clinical template. You can also manually copy and paste these notes.
All notes generated by Heidi will be highlighted, with the Heidi Icon appearing to the right of the field that was generated by it.
You can close the Heidi Widget by either clicking on close or by cancelling or saving the notes.
